Prior to founding Boomerang, the company’s principals founded S&S Worldwide, which they grew to become the largest manufacturer of thrill rides in USA. To date, the S&S has safely thrilled over 1 Billion patrons in 31 counties worldwide, with customers including Disney, MGM, Six Flags & Cedar Fair.
Engineering accomplishments include the World's tallest thrill ride (Stratosphere, Las Vegas, NV) and the World's fastest roller coaster (Guinness World Record in 2002). After dominating the amusement ride industry, the principles of S&S decided to use their expertise in precision engineering and manufacturing to develop cutting edge automated parking and self storage solutions, and Boomerang Systems was born.
Upon entering the automated parking market, we interviewed countless developers, architects, engineers, contractors and parking consultants, and we found that existing solutions were not adequately addressing market concerns of throughput, redundancy, fire & life safely, and serviceability. Boomerang products and systems are designed, engineered and manufactured in Logan, Utah, USA with extensive facilities dedicated exclusively to the production of our systems.
